12 participating T20 teams are divided into 4 groups. Top 2 teams from each group will reach Super-8 stage. These 8 teams will be divided into 2 groups. Top 2 teams from each group will reach semi-finals.
Tournament dates: September 18-October 7.
2012 T20 Cricket World cup – groups:
10 teams will fight for 2 qualifying slots in a qualifying tourney that will be held in UAE from March 13 to March 24, 2012.
